14 March 2018. Publication of the winning contributions of the Worldwide Space Policy Essay Competition: “Post - 2030 Agenda and the role of space”.
On the occasion of the UNISPACE+50 Conference, the European Space Policy Institute (ESPI), the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) and the German Aerospace Center (DLR) invited students and young professionals worldwide to submit a paper on the “Post - 2030 Agenda and the role of space”. Participants were asked to address potential new goals or targets which take into account the needs and interests of the whole international community and how they might be achieved by the support of space applications. The paper could have also analysed how the existing themes may evolve further with regards to space activity.
Congratulations to all selected authors and their contributions which will be published by Springer under the title: “Post 2030-Agenda and the Role of Space - The UN 2030 Goals and Their Further Evolution Beyond 2030 for Sustainable Development” and edited by Dr Annette Froehlich (ESPI/DLR).
